Multi Destination Club (MDC's)
For those mainly wanting a
different location each holiday the multi destination clubs offer free
exchange around their resorts whilst still offering access to the RCI
system.
The disadvantage to most MDC’s
is that the club ensures all the peak weeks requested by its owners are
fulfilled to the benefit of all within the club, this can mean the weeks
left over are the ones given to the exchange networks , which as they are
usually lesser times of year can have a poor trading power when you come to
try and exchange externally.
At ATR we only recommend two MDC’s and they
both avoid this poor trading problem that the others can have. They are
Compass Club
and
Atlas Vacation Points (or weeks)
Compass Club
has 50 Resorts around
the World with free exchange at any time of year including school holidays
and Christmas, New Year and Easter. Compass pre spacebanks (see RCI weeks
system below) its’ weeks that are given to the RCI exchange system for
external exchanges by as much as two years ahead. This dramatically
increases the trading power of the owners trading out of the Compass
resorts. Compass club is only high season red time.
