Timeshare – what’s it all about? |
When you
own a timeshare you can holiday at a choice of more than 4500 luxury resorts
at times other than you own yourself.
You can
get extra weeks holidays from as little as £90 a week without giving up your
own week/s. Anytime, anywhere can be yours depending on what you own. |
 |
This guide is not only

What
you should look for! |
Some of
the rather obvious things you should look out for when making your choice.
|
Choose a
popular and successful club or resort. |
 |
Imagine showing the
timeshare you are looking at buying to your friends or work colleagues and
getting a real positive reaction, that’s the right one. For a timeshare to
trade well it usually needs to have a high demand and that means a resort
that appeals more than most. We choose the best quality we can get within
each budget and our aim is to offer maximum value.
You should
think how others may judge the resort you are buying, after all they will be
the ones to exchange into it when you are not using it. The more appealing
the product you buy, generally the better it trades in any system. The next
factor to add to this is the time of year you own. If you own red time high
season then you can go at any time of year, if you choose a lesser time of
year you will have restricted exchange options.
|
Resorts that have a history
of good management, are well run and have happy owners. |
Timeshare is a long term
investment in you and your family’s future holidays, so you want to buy one
you will be proud of, that will be well run and stay perpetually new
looking. Exchange companies also take account of how guests are looked after
whilst on holiday, so how a resort is run can affect your trading power,
exchangeability and points value. So choose a resort that cares and has a
track record to prove it. |
Look for happy owners |
Owner satisfaction is
one of the greatest factors in our sourcing of timeshares that we recommend.
With 80% of our owners recommending and referring new members we pride
ourselves in the Resorts and Timeshares we endorse. Our referral programme
only works for us if our owners always get a good deal. We want and have
happy owners.
ATR
consult with the Timeshare Consumers Association so as to ensure our product
range does not include Resorts that are getting complaints from the owners.
In short, your happiness is our happiness, so we ensure we offer blue chip
products at all ends of the market, that’s why we get referrals!
